ETRERA 2020 is organizing a call for proposals to showcase the most innovative projects and is inviting all the organizations to present their innovation projects made by collaboration between academia and industry that they consider to have been particularly successful in three fields of renewable energies: wind, solar and smart grids.

Why participate?

•          The winners will be awarded the ETRERA_2020 PRIZE for the most innovative project in their category.

•          The winners will be awarded a trip to Istanbul, Turkey, to receive the prize and present their project at the “Best practices” workshop.

•          On top of that, the project will become a best practice of ETRERA 2020. The lessons learned that will emerge from the winners will be included in an “e-Handbook” that will be distributed to the research and industry sector active in renewable energy.

•          ETRERA 2020 will also help to promote the winning organizations to potential investors for their new projects!

Applying is a very easy procedure: the application form can be filled directly online at the webpage www.etrera2020.eu/form and requires only key information that you normally should already have with you. Interested applicants are invited to apply by 15 February 2014.

This competition is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to showcase your project, enhance your visibility and have more chances to attract potential research and industry partners for your organisation.

E-mail Print PDF

TUNIS, TUNISIA, 18th SEPTEMBER 2013 – Today the FETRIC project kick-off meeting concluded, shifting the three year cooperation project from the conceptual towards the actual implementation by deciding the next steps to be undertaken.

The FETRIC project aims at a progressive strengthening of bilateral cooperation in research and innovation, particularly within the context of Horizon2020, supporting amongst other things, a policy dialogue between the EU and Tunisia. The project will give special focus to the innovation processes in order to cope with the main Tunisian societal challenges - such as Scarcity of resources, Energy (specifically renewable energy and energy saving) and High quality affordable food.

FETRIC will take a bottom-up approach by accumulating project feedback, which will be used in preparing a roadmap for future STI (Science, Technology & Innovation) cooperation.

FETRIC is a great opportunity for strengthening European - Tunisian Cooperation. In fact, FETRIC will continue on the path of the previous ETC project. FETRIC will contribute to pave the ground for fruitful cooperation activities in the research & Innovation field, leading to solutions able to overcome societal challenges, not just in Tunisia, but in the whole of the EU and North African regions.

FETRIC will target the EU and Tunisian research and innovation chain by:

  • analysing the whole Tunisian STI system through the setting up of a link among actors belonging to the scientific, technological and the innovation communities;
  • improve the quality and number of partnerships involving both researchers and entrepreneurs;
  • create  a research and innovation network in the North African region;
  • boost the participation of the Tunisian research centres and enterprises in the forthcoming program Horizon 2020.

FETRIC is a project funded by the 7FP - INCO 2013 - BILAT

MEDSPRING Open Consultation

E-mail Print PDF

The MEDSPRING project (Mediterranean Science, Policy, Research & Innovation Gateway) (www.medspring.eu) is moving forward to connecting research and society through the MEDSPRING-AGORA (http://agora.medspring.eu).

In order to address the societal challenges “€œhigh quality affordable food€”, “€œresource efficiency”€, “€œenergy” addressed by MEDSPRING in the frame of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and dialogue on research and innovation, we are launching a first on-line open consultation on the valorization of research results in relation to the above challenges.

The people participating in the open consultation are asked to contribute formulating recommendations for actions, which will be then conveyed through the proper institutional channels to research managers and policy makers, European Commission and other regional organisations and actors, in view of influencing their research agenda and increase research impact.

MEDSPRING-AGORA is targeting to active citizens, researchers, enterpreneurs, policy-makers and everyone else having a stake in the above societal challenges in the Mediterranean region.

Thus, MEDSPRING encourages you to contribute and/or forward this message to your project partners, network members, colleagues, friends, followers and others that you think can have an interest to actively participate in the consultation.
